The friction calender is composed of three rolls,present"Hard soft hard"arrangement. During calendering，thefabric passes through the hard rolling point first and thenthe friction rolling point. The linear speed of the frictionroller is greater than the speed of the fabric passingthrough the rolling point,which makes the fabric surfacesubject to friction and obtain the polishing effect. At thesame time,due to the effect of calendering and friction,the yarn is compressed flat,the interlacing holes are notreduced，and the fabric surface is smooth,producing astrong luster,as if coated with a layer of wax. Duringprocessing，according to the processing requirements of thefabric The friction rate (i.e. the linear speed ratio of theupper and lower rollers) is adjusted through thetransmission device.
